“Tour memories”

Its about 15 days tour have been almost finished, it was in fact a grand in the sense that we got to learn a lot along with different flavor of experiences. Turning those unturned pages, those random moments always bring smile in the face .From the beginning till the end there wasn’t any moment which we missed to enjoy. It was like a endless journey, starting from the Bardiya National park to Uttarkhand state of India.

The beauties of those memories intermingle with journey which even remained as nostalgic. Glancing back to the journey, I feel like as i had experience the life of nomad. Gossiping with friends, dancing, singing wildly, falling in love with the nature through the window passed by the bus ,rushing for few bites of fast food  and capturing different fetish of snapshot  were the random moments in the tour. Besides that, learning by seeing is the motto of our tour.

One the first  day  we stayed at  kohalpur, it was somewhat boring I must say nothing  was interesting. All were tired and other thing was no interaction between the students .Even though I was trying to enjoy that also, lip sing the lyrics of the song played in the bus, cutting jokes with the friend’s blah blah….. Furthermore, I adore Bardiya National park, which increases my passion towards wildlife. Jungle walk in the BNP was the best part of the tour, those chittal running scene, elephant ride, jeep trip to NTNC, dohori till midnight were really mesmerizing. Visit to Suklaphata add different taste to the tour in the sense that we fell freedom to do whatever we like, also chadani  Dodhara Bridge in dusk was like wonderland. In fact when I visit the far western part of Nepal, I felt pathetic for the those political leader who signed the agreement of the beautiful mahakali river.

Turning to the entry of India, I had no control over emotions and circumstances, those hardworking people,  development in comparison to Nepal esp in the industrial sector. On the first day we stayed at Haldawani ,forest training institute .Satabdi hostel was awesome indeed, fresh air, water, clean and safe room.Next day visit to the nursery was the inspiration for we all students to do something in forestry sector. Nursery of the lalkuwa was big, it covers about hectres of area which consists different compartment for different species as well as for new clonal development. Rajendra  singh  Bist was the hero indeed, people accept it or not in fact he was the one for the revolutionary change in the development of new clones. Nursery visit followed by century pulp and paper was the once in a lifetime visit to such a big industry in the whole world. It was not even set in the imagination as a citizen of such a small country with null
development in the industrial sector. We all were compelled to wide open the eyes and mouth as well, as there was something sudden surprises. Those huge plant for conversion of raw material ,raw material in the form of Himalayan range, thousands of people  was the surprises for us.

Visit to FRI was another experience which sometimes make me think about the education system  we had in Nepal,I feel like we are lagging behind in every sector .Different department in the FRI and the research center were the main attraction for we all forestry graduates .FRI providing  DNA testing to students, which was indeed the great opportunity in doing research works. Those managed building by british government ,different department inside one  instituton ,extraction of raw materials and their conversion, and many more were the main attraction of the FRI.In fact FRI is the one  which produce  the potential student, furthermore technical education  system play vital role in learning which has been provided by FRI.
Recreational visit to Nainital and mansooree was great,it was refreshment to our educational tour kiping away from lectures and briefing on different topics.Panaromic view of the hills as well as Dehradun from the top of mansoore was the best moment to remember.Cold weather, fog in the sky, those lightening houses in the early evening ,Shopping, hot tea and coffee were simply awesome  Almost biding bye to the 15 days tour bring mixed feeling ,sad and happy too.Lastly,it was grand.
