Master Piece (Moments)

Mission Wifi :

Truly speaking I am in touch with the WIFI only before two years, getting familiar with this words is also a big deal in the developing country like Nepal. Getting back to the time in that mission, we work hard, make people understand somehow about  the WiFi  and in turn learn to a little extent of the technical knowledge about installing WIFI, most importantly about the device we need! Rural people are the one with the heart in
fact, hospitality they provide, their contribution in making the project success  although  for the first phase was incredible indeed. “1 step foundation” a very new name of organization formulated by the group of student, completely non profitable, not political organization working in the field of community development. We were in second phase  of work in the target area Bajung, How worthy is it, when a number of students based in Kathmandu, volunteer the 1 month teaching in the remote part of the country with the goal to  get  cent percent result in SLC. Learning by doing being motto of our journey, we not only tested the device whether they can perform or not in the area, besides  identifying the range how far it can work and making those curious faces of the rural students understand somehow about the internet, Wi-Fi etc.
A piece of  wonderland(Bajung):
Those view in the eyes was actually the portray of the wonderland! symbiotic relationship between the heart and environment  with the strong bond. Apart from the busy schedule , while walking uphill,
sometime downhill, still  we can feel  the uncontaminated form of nature. Panoramic view of those huge rocks carved with the vegetation, above which the cloud is dancing and looking for a chance to fall in the earth. I pondered with the weather fluctuation there in the Bajung within the short period of time we can see the misty cloud covering those huge mountain and hill ,instantly  huge hills with distinct vegetation cover ,snow capped mountain and the small village with the scattered  house. It was like spell bounded viewing those scenic beauty. Just opposite to the Bajung, one can see the huge consolidated rock forming the Panchase hill, with the only virgin mountain “Machhpuchre”  above it. I have never expected that the journey goes beyond limitation, meditation in the top of the hill was the moment which I still love to cherish, opening the eyes I felt like I was fully motivated, I got some energy and the view in front of my eyes looks  as if I was in the wonderland, undoubtly with one and only words WOW.
 Character:

How can I refuse to accept the trip as a complete package? The moment we share during our seven days in Bajung was  mesmerizing .How can I forgot to mention the main actors of our trip Bijay Eren Sapkota,Tejaswi  Adhikari , Jhakendra  daju and those helping hands during our project. How I found Bijay was like cool, friendly, sometime moody, sometime responsible, sometime versatile, sometime yelling unnecessarily, sometime acting like stranger and importantly spiritual. I can’t deny accepting my little sister Tejaswi  as Florence Nightangle , showering the much love ,care, her passion in medicine field, sometimes talkative, chitchatting till midnight and the most common words like… like, rack….rack, tyo ,sometime moody ,a lady with the wide smile reflecting the world is smiling .

Our legend, Pradip Adhikari, without him everything seems impossible, his effort ranging from the fund collection to coordinating the team, giving direction etc. Even though I  haven’t met him yet, my mind judge him as a dynamic, cool, dedicated, friendly, wanting changes in the society   and  a youth  with dream to change the world.I proudly insist that, the world is wanting the youth like you.Being treated as their children  by hajurbuwa and ganga aunti,  we will never gonna forget you all. . I can’t found any words to describe those Bajung people, I am indebted to them.
I noticed the response in their own words-                                                                                                   Tejaswi- kathmandu janai mann chaina, kehi din yetai basna paye ni hunthyo with a heavy heart.
Bijay-Jane din ma aja etai basau na,ramailo garau, fix chaina hami feri aau6au ki audainau voli jaula ni      tah.

"Found Everywhere "

Who said life is easy? If our world is easy and beautiful, nobody  would have entered it by crying. Turning those beautiful chapter having different pages  in different course of time, I had no control over emotions and circumstances. I could no longer find anything around me.
The  time when I had first noticed the young girl instead pretending to be like a boy who was walking by my side when I was in grade school,  she was continuously complimenting her as she was like  a boy, she can do anything as boys does blah-blah and suddenly asked me am i like a girl? Reading her face and going through her spoken words, her latent wish to be a boy. The only aim of her life is to be a professional driver thinking that it is the only profession done by boys.
Recalling the worthy past, a foggy man enjoying his life at fullest, its seems as  he was traffic having same schedule, teaching traffic rules and giving direction to the airplanes flying in the sky as per the sign by whistling.  Once he scolded me and gave one slap as  I was not following  his rules while walking in the street. They  are  like normal  human, but they do whatever they like as if life is all about having joy and spending life as a street man.
With the heavy heart I used to notice the activities of an old women walking along the same  street  over two years. She was thin women with white hair, carrying the bag filled of dirty clothes with bare foot roaming here and there, cursing people of the same house, standing in front of the same house. How much pathetic is it? , some young boys used to rape that old women if they got the chance.
Another an old man like a “Raute” or “jungle man”  with small piece of cloth covering the small portion of  the body. Whenever I saw him I recall the student life of grade one, where we used to read about the past civilization and about the stone age. That moment always bring smile in my face, when I gave 2 rupees to that old man, he spit in my face, scold me and throw that money back to me only because I gave very few amount to him. Even though  I used to notice him every day on the way to my college, I felt some kind of difficulty when I saw him shivering due to severe cold, trying to defend cold by smoking the pipe left in the street.
My  pen stop writing when I remember a young boy walking in the street, begging with people for his survival. I stop for few minutes watching him continuously ,some people give slap, some feed him with food etc. Interesting thing about him is that he was continuously speaking English cursing political leader reflecting the current political condition of the country and his frustration towards the country. At the mean time when he was walking in the street, one man in the other side of the road called him and request him to come there, he replied “I am not a magnet brother”. His spoken words  were complex, I cannot understand what he is telling about? But when I deeply gone through his words, how logical answer was it?? What a rigid sentence was it? Tremendously inspired by his spoken words.
Wherever I go ,I found the street with such people around with different activities. They do have same cranial capacity, same organs for the physiological activities but seems different with normal human? Why they are called abnormal?? It is noticed that the people are in that situation due to some happening and cause in their life. Is it the reason??,that they are passing the life and time as a street man.  Is  life beautiful for them????Always grappled with many profound question?? How much life would be worthy  if they can live the normal life!!!

"Journey with the Power Shift Nepal"

It’s June 5 again, lets celebrate this environment day, honoring our mother earth and reminding everywhere, around to handle our mother earth with love and care. With the slogan “Raise your voice not the sea level” World environment day 2014 was celebrated with more than 100 power shifter from different nook and corner of the country. For me every day is environment day, but before when I entered forestry ,I didn’t found any day as special as I feel now. The fact is that, when you know something about anything you might have interest on it, when interest changes into passion it never dies up.
How fast the time flows on, this 2.5 months with the power shift Nepal was the incredible moment indeed. On the auspicious occasion, we graduated!!! Holding certificate in not everything ,it is about designing the future action plan and bring it into action. Fighting for success is not easy, but be optimistic and truly believe you can win. Glancing back to the 2.5 months with the power shift Nepal, we were trained, given responsibility to handle the action plan and at last come out with action as well as output. Upto here knowledge walk-heritage walk, Ratna park cleaning campaign, UN park cleaning, hiking, plantation were the joint action organized by power shift Nepal. Unfortunately ,I was unable to participate on those joint activities although I am highly interested in those events most importantly heritage walk to Bhaktapur which I was looking for .I feel delighted when I saw the facebook page of GPS filled with the activities done by different group, creativity of the enthusiastic youth, promoting eco-friendly behavior, waste turned to usable thing etc.
Making the chain of network and shifting power we are now more than 500 power shifter on the move. We not only shifted power, fun, team work ,real practice of the work in the field everything was a complete package. I sublime in absence of myself, despite of scorching sun power shifter were busy on decorating stall, some were busy in managing stall, some invest their time in describing about the stuff and their significant role in mitigating the impact of climate change. Tremendously inspired from the alternative energy (solar group) what they present about the solar cooker is innovative, simple to use and cheap.  All the while, the glorious sun pours immaculate, free energy down upon us ,more than we will ever need. In this era it  doesn’t make any sense, people are more advance, busy, can’t even wait for a single minute. Imagine, how they can wait for hours to bring it in real practice? Salute to the BEE group, eco-friendly group, their creativity expressed in comparing two different residential area was the one, that can bring the attention of every conscious mind.
Experience sharing session was the moment, which I still love to remember. Lots of inspirational and motivational experience piled one after another .I hastily noted those sharing in my notebook. Danish one of the power shifter from the alternative energy group sharing his experience ,connected with GPS thinking as Global positioning system ponder with Global Power Shift, lastly with the best result. I sometime muddle with the slogan ”Raise your voice not the sea level” those talkative power shifter at the beginning of the training session were no more there, can’t even saw their face, outcome was beyond expectation. So, lets talk less and act more!
Sometime we pretend that we know that what we are doing, while we still try to figure it out, considering how hard is it to change yourself and you will know what a very little chance you have to change others??Even though most of the youth are educated, they act like illiterate. We are digging our own exitinction,I feel proud to be connected with GPS, atleast we have contributed in some extent. So lets not break the step, move AHEAD powershifter!!!
Despite of  short time, those random moment sharing with power shifter, its is notoriously difficult to add the adjective ,Although I am trying Deepak raj sir(friendly, dedicated),Jeewan sir(cooperative)Niraj dai(hatred with the word sir, besides cool and friendly)Pratap dai(dedicated, cool),Roshni mam(smart, her fluency in English..just wow,I ponder if she has Nepali origin)Indra sir(dedicated),Ram Babu Sir(our energizer) Rajeev sir, everyone were perfect, without you all Powershift wouldn’t have been complete. We are on the begining,we have to go miles before we sleep,March ahead Powershifter!!!!!!!!!!!

Green Youth Convention

The mission has set, the unending journey with unstable Passion and interest we youth from the different nook and corner of the country came under one umbrella to joins hands  to paint the world green with wild flora and fauna. With enthusiastic youth from 16 districts our session starts at Amaltari, Nawalparasi. Hundreds of youth with brainstorming mind  were very warmly welcomed by the local people of that area. The area where we are going to attend the program is totally with colorful papers sticking on the rope. Local people of the Amaltari, homestay were busy in making the area attractive welcoming  guest, youth , media  person by putting tika and giving flower.

On the 22d of april our first session starts at Amaltari homestay cultural hall. The programs starts with some rules and regulation that we need to follow during the program and followed by some documentary about wildlife and their importance in balancing the ecosystem. Then after our introduction session with the division of groups by calling 1,2,3…7.Altogether there were seven groups including youth from different background and interest. The most interesting thing was that every group need to introduce their member in creative way creating awareness among the people and motivate them in conserving biodiversity .I found youth  creative and innovative in the sense that they presented the introduction of the group member in very interesting way. Most often that the best introduction will  be honoured with some prize. As Franz Kafka said that ”Youth is happy because it has the capacity to see  beauty .Anyone who keeps the ability to shows beauty never grows old”. Like his saying youth are the one who can bring the changes and which is the lasting one. Furthermore the program is ongoing with different speech followed by documentary show .Everyone was busy in listening ,but my mind was busy in thinking about the opposition that there is big gap in between saying and implementing it in actual field. Most importantly, divided group formulated some objective and organizational structure along with the commitment in  networking the youth from grass root level.
Turning back to the 2nd day, the program start with the introduction about “The Generation Green” by Sikha   Gurung  followed by the motivational and inspirational speech by Anil Shah (Head of the mega bank) which can be the best example those who can’t dream their future in Nepal .Furthermore  motivational and inspirational speech by our mentor Dr.Shanta raj Gyawali, Kamal jung Kunwar(chief warden of CNP),Ranjit Acharya ,those spoken words have power but the difference is it’s very easy to pronounce words rather than bring that simple thinking in real practice. Those innocent faces of tharu society dedicating themselves to achieve the success of the program, busy in practicing the  most difficult dance(lathi dance),serving the guest in very well manner, isn’t it good deed? Learning from that is the best achievement I think .Flow line ,dream-design-discover-deliver is what we need to apply in one’s life. Undoubtly, its lead to success! Truly I admire Ravi shanker  Mardhaniya(President of Amaltari homestay) ,all his spoken words can change the world, reason is he is not only giving speech but those words  are authentic and he is practicing too. I sublimed inside me, remained  motionless as well as speechless, why we can’t do something in favor of wildlife and their habitat? With bold dream to do something  in conserving wildlife and their existence in world, the program came to an end by gathering media person from different district. Discussed about media coverage by the concerned biodiversity issues and their contribution in bringing change. Almost biding bye to the program as well as those amaltari homestay people with heavy heart and giving assurance to visit next time.
More reflection about the program that’s come into my mind ,cultural dance by tharu community, dancing wildly in the song whatever comes next, those  creative literature, gajals, poems, sayari , etc  producing by youth and competing to present among youths etc were really the moment to cherish.Besides that, tremndously inspired from Tilak sir and synergy from  the Bhaskar sir were precious learning.   I commit to conserve biodiversity to build  the earth  green and clean, Don’t you guys?  Lets join hands to paint the earth green. CHEERS to youth, CHEERS to world!! Together WE can win!!!!!!!!!!

"Shifting power"

In dilemma always, what does it’s mean “I am a power shifter”, I am literally searching the meaning whether its reflecting to shift energy or any other thing. On the  first day, I was searching the venue of the program, as I my mind is new to the places of Kathmandu. I asked few people on the way about the location, in the mean time I saw the group of girls standing on the road looking here and there, I asked them too, they replied that they were also searching same  thing which I was for ??
With  many profound questions around the mind, we are trying to changed into power shifter. I found the program quite different and interesting in the sense the we were asked to commit as a power shifter by resonating the voice which calls “I am a power shifter” and  at a time we were asked to dance on the front of the hall which in turn taking away all the laziness of the participants. I can see diverse youth from various field ,some with curious faces, some introducing each other ,some were busy in gossips, some cutting jokes with their peers.  It’s quite interesting to see those scene of youth from different  corner at a place. At the beginning we were energized by our mentor Rambabu sir, then after different presentation followed by documentary show about the climate change, global warming and its impact. It is the well agreed fact we are the one for vanishing as well as killing and hunting of our own kind. Have we turned in savages ,we always so dreaded? Why we refuse to be the agent of change? why we refuse to act from now? Continuously  haunted by these questions when I heard about the rate our planet is being destroying by our daily behavior! Is seriousness is all about shifting power, still confused!!!
The next day we were called at NTB, Bhirkutimandap to leave for Nagarkot  for the next session. As I was the only one from Pokhara to attend the training, people were amazed asking me “u came from Pokhara to attend the program” It was like confused Confucius !!!! Truly i came to know very few people on the first day of the training and I was expecting that we will be introduced on the beginning of the session. Beyond expectation, very new way of introduction calling WHOO…HAAA, making two circle, rotating in the clockwise direction introducing each other .That’s how our next session start in different venue CHRDU. Entered Sagarmatha hall, discussed about the impacts that we are facing since few years and the adapting and mitigating measures of climate change, Everyone turned mute at the moment,  What would I do if when the world demands for me like everyone else? Will I be able to be someone else not me as I am now? And what if I don’t? Abolished from the face of the earth? These were the question  triggered me to act as a power shifter!! There were about 85 youth divided into different groups to proceed the discussion as well as to formulate the action plan for the next two months under different themes such as ecofriendly behavior. alternative energy, ecofriendly tourism, research and policy, drama/documentation.

Besides attending session and discussion, dancing ,singing, campfire ,chitchatting till midnight were the random moments in the program. On the last day we, participants formulated the action plan and presented among all. By the time we changed into the” power shifter ”.I came to know Power shifter is nothing more it’s about disseminating ideas and knowledge to other youth, making chain of network in the community ,country and in turn across the globe. Now i am ready for power shift!!!!!

Human and environment

These days the environment is grappled with the  various destruction and degradation  caused by the so  called conscious  human. Unquestionably, the earth is facing its most serious challenge, as  a species in the web of life, man is rapidly destroying the foundation of his/her very existence. Though we are so much sophisticated by the luxuries we get from this materialistic world, yet we bound to return to the nature when calls. Nature is the place where  we open our eyes, play  our part, eat, spend our life times and where finally our body will be turned into ashes. we are living in this materialistic world neglecting the circumstances we have to bear where our so called developmental progress will involuntarily crush our eternal happiness. sometimes it make great humor when we listen that conventions and seminars for biodiversity conservation and environment protection are signing in the same country where nuclear weapons are frequently tested. In my point of view it doesn’t make a sense.
Upon this eye full of surrounding our survival depends, protect it and it will grow our happiness and surrounds us with beauty, abuse it the environment will degrade and collapse taking mankind with it. Furthermore no one is away from the degradation and the destruction and its consequences in the near future, and the youth are the most affected generations.
Forest harbor over half of the world terrestrial biodiversity .It sustain the livelihood of over billions of people worldwide and they provide the whole range of ecosystem services, including water filtration, soil stabilization and the raw ingredients for much of the  world’ medicine.
Besides Nepal is small country yet enriched with different species of wild flora and fauna, it is the hub with various rare animals and plants . According to the recent data, Nepal has got 118 type of ecosystem besides ocean and desert,75 type of vegetation and 35 type of forest,43 species of amphibian,181 species of mammals,100 reptiles,635 species of butterfly,185 species of fresh water fish including different type of flora and fauna only residing in Nepal. According to BCN(Bird Conservation Nepal) among 832 species of birds  are found in Nepal  among them 31 species have been disappearing from the world.
As Nepal  is the small country which is the victim of all the changes caused by  the climate change, global warming, acid rain etc as a result of emission of GHG gases by the developed country. Forest pollution is the another factor responsible for the destruction of wild flora and fauna. It is the challenging task for the conservationist indeed. Toxic chemical from the industries and their disposal into the river, use of chemical pesticides and fertilizer in the agricultural field, air pollution, overpopulation, deforestation, encroachment  are the sole cause for the deterioration of the natural environment. Forest pollution is the
global issue requiring  a global solution. These factor in fact are the determinants of the forest pollution at a glance. we are familier about the direct impact seen in the planet like ozone layer depletion, acid rain, unseasonal rainfall pattern ,temperature rise which has adversely affecting the the lives of human as well as animals and plants . Nepal  is witnessing the rising demand of the forest products ultimately which led to encroachment causing deforestation and severe loss of the natural resources. Furthermore in the past, terai forest was deforested in the large extent for the eradication of malaria. To address the conservation, national parks and wildlife reserve have established which is no longer far from the impact of those changes.
Moreover national parks and wildlife reserve cover about 18% of the total forest area of Nepal.  There are 10 national parks,3 wildlife reserve ,5 conservation areas and one hunting reserve  established to address conservation even though the situation is very dire, wild animals ,birds ,reptiles ,fishes etc are decline in alarming rate. Due to urbanization, industrialization etc have threatened the live of animal, birds etc. They are no longer in their natural state. For example, due to habitat loss, lack of food, water pollution in the Narayani river, dolphin number are decreasing day by day, another  concentrated pollution in the Narayani is killing large no of fish which in turn wiping out birdlife, reptiles, amphibian(esp gharial) and other fauna. Different studies have shown that water pollution in the river affect the endocrine system, decrease the fertility , and also in the breeding.
Glancing back to the childhood memories, we can see vulture in our surrounding feeding in the Caracus, even we are compelled to face the fear of the tiger and its destruction in the community areas. It’s pathetic to say, they are no longer in the areas due to the increased settlement, encroachment of the forest areas. We so called concern human are being mute in this sense.

A small effort can make a large difference, so the change should be started from the grass root level. As rural people are uneducated, they have unequal access to the  opportunity, their voice is muted in the decision making. Community awareness can be the best solution along with the strong enforcement of rules and laws, clear demarcation of the forest boundary etc. In this context different agreements and goals have been set globally to reduce the GHG emission, deforestation, pollution  etc  to longer the life of the planet. Indeed many hands and natural forces have shaped the earth around us, being a youth who always love environments, wildlife and other components, it is our duty to raise key issues in relation to the climate change mitigation and adaptation. Global climate change related initiatives aimed at reducing pollution, deforestation and forest degradation, including role of conservation, sustainable  management of forest.

Water bird census(Weather + Character)

Beyond expectation, its time or natural arrangement I got an  opportunity to  be involved in the annual water bird census in Jagdishpur reservoir. With the rays of hope to taste different flavor, new mind to the water bird, new faces, almost new weather, what a life worth living. The best weather ever what a combination, a foggy day with the mildly blowing wind mixed with few tiny drops of water. The sun shines only behind the cloud, from dawn to dusk I was among rainfall of misty fumes slowly I vapoured too.
Breathtaking view of those waterfowl around Jagdishpur reservoir was really awesome. In fact i was bit confused with the census technique, how far it can be accurate   or without  error. Hundreds of bird were flying here and there , some were dancing, swimming etc in  the sense enjoying life at fullest. Besides, never ending process learning, i  learn to distinguish between different species of waterfowl as well as other migratory water bird. Never fading curiosity about birdlife, their identification, envying their lifestyle, bring attention of the vaccum mind to fill something new.
Different species common coot, red crested pochard, most innocent cormorant, lesser adjutant ,grebe species, common moorhen ,kingfisher ,heron species ,egret ,sandpiper ,lapwing, common teal and finally sarus(most lovely waterbird) and many more tree bird  we got to see in the reservoir. Indeed birdbook and binocular are the one for the ease in identification. Whenever I thought about the invention of different instrument I put forward my deep respect to the inventors who make me feel like as if I was very close to the distant birds. Panoromic view of the reservoir along with trees by side, some piece of land like island, birds  activities were mesmerizing.
With the bold hope to finish the birdcount our mission was set. In the mean time we meet one young boy  carrying bird which was injured in the wings, going through the condition of the bird it was almost near to death. We so called conservationist were mute in the sense that nothing we can do for the survival of that bird.I feel pathetic for the so called  conservationist word in front of uneducated as well as unaware local people. Indeed many hands and force have shaped the world around us, it’s our duty to raise awareness from the grass root level to sustain the environment full with different creature.
Talking about the chemistry of the character’s and weather, small team with five member with different creation of god I must say. Dinesh Girl was hero indeed,His effort in the water bird census was incredible. Trying to avoid the tiredness and the chilling cold along with rain, his friendly behavior, cooperation in identification were playing pivotal role. Another Krishna Bhusal was beyond expectation kinda attitude holder, introvert and shy in nature. Long live was somewhat forward, textually  active, with no boundaries of hunger on that day also add different taste to the day. Most hilarious character manohar dai was the sense of humor for we all.His curiosity in bird habitat and those entertaining talk  were  really unforgotable. It was a ccomplete package with different experiences(weather, birdcount, character ).

Life without cell phone

Sleepy morning, lazy and scary day, tired evening and lonely night, this is how passing my life and time. Remembering the worthy past facing ,freaking present and worrying about the written future. Not guts, no glory, no brains and same story all the time…!!!
Excepting that expectations that don’t worth accepting another lesson, fading passion. Wow!! What a life worth living. Beyond the expectation, time and situation are altering. Everything in my life is going smooth and as usual in spite I’m very unlucky with technical objects ie; cell phone, calculator esp and many more.
Dark, dense cloud roam around the mind in an imagination without cell phone. I just have realized that I have fully addicted in the cell phone. Refreshing songs, text messages, funny videos, random pictures are striking my mind every seconds. I had faced the situation, how it feel without cell phone for about four months and even in different patches of time.
Cell phones are becoming the physiological as well as psychological process to maintain the life activities. Without cell phone psychological imbalance occur in mind and restore those random memories connected with cell phone. I can find myself self-directed, powerful and self-reliant even in the chaos with cell phone. Despite all those pros loneliness, frustrated, depressed and even in embarrassing situation are faced in its absence. In this context, people are becoming materialistic and parasitic which depends upon the host to live their life. Cell phone are becoming integral part of life indeed.
Its my experience that pool of imagination piled one after another to form a huge plan, I missed the every moments which I had passed with my cell phone. Most frequently, I used my cell phone for providing me the time which serves as a clock for me. In the midnight serving as a friend for a toilet trip and switching on the light. Practicing the fast type of the text message and feeling proud to do so, sneaking into other cell phone to see messages, serving as a desktop connected with internet,homepage,wallpost.. blah…blah… no calls for the whole day sometimes make me feel sad and doing missed call to each other.
Short time but the deep intimacy with the cell phone sometime make me think about what is the sole cause that me becoming so addicted.

“Tour memories”

Its about 15 days tour have been almost finished, it was in fact a grand in the sense that we got to learn a lot along with different flavor of experiences. Turning those unturned pages, those random moments always bring smile in the face .From the beginning till the end there wasn’t any moment which we missed to enjoy. It was like a endless journey, starting from the Bardiya National park to Uttarkhand state of India.

The beauties of those memories intermingle with journey which even remained as nostalgic. Glancing back to the journey, I feel like as i had experience the life of nomad. Gossiping with friends, dancing, singing wildly, falling in love with the nature through the window passed by the bus ,rushing for few bites of fast food  and capturing different fetish of snapshot  were the random moments in the tour. Besides that, learning by seeing is the motto of our tour.

One the first  day  we stayed at  kohalpur, it was somewhat boring I must say nothing  was interesting. All were tired and other thing was no interaction between the students .Even though I was trying to enjoy that also, lip sing the lyrics of the song played in the bus, cutting jokes with the friend’s blah blah….. Furthermore, I adore Bardiya National park, which increases my passion towards wildlife. Jungle walk in the BNP was the best part of the tour, those chittal running scene, elephant ride, jeep trip to NTNC, dohori till midnight were really mesmerizing. Visit to Suklaphata add different taste to the tour in the sense that we fell freedom to do whatever we like, also chadani  Dodhara Bridge in dusk was like wonderland. In fact when I visit the far western part of Nepal, I felt pathetic for the those political leader who signed the agreement of the beautiful mahakali river.

Turning to the entry of India, I had no control over emotions and circumstances, those hardworking people,  development in comparison to Nepal esp in the industrial sector. On the first day we stayed at Haldawani ,forest training institute .Satabdi hostel was awesome indeed, fresh air, water, clean and safe room.Next day visit to the nursery was the inspiration for we all students to do something in forestry sector. Nursery of the lalkuwa was big, it covers about hectres of area which consists different compartment for different species as well as for new clonal development. Rajendra  singh  Bist was the hero indeed, people accept it or not in fact he was the one for the revolutionary change in the development of new clones. Nursery visit followed by century pulp and paper was the once in a lifetime visit to such a big industry in the whole world. It was not even set in the imagination as a citizen of such a small country with null
development in the industrial sector. We all were compelled to wide open the eyes and mouth as well, as there was something sudden surprises. Those huge plant for conversion of raw material ,raw material in the form of Himalayan range, thousands of people  was the surprises for us.

Visit to FRI was another experience which sometimes make me think about the education system  we had in Nepal,I feel like we are lagging behind in every sector .Different department in the FRI and the research center were the main attraction for we all forestry graduates .FRI providing  DNA testing to students, which was indeed the great opportunity in doing research works. Those managed building by british government ,different department inside one  instituton ,extraction of raw materials and their conversion, and many more were the main attraction of the FRI.In fact FRI is the one  which produce  the potential student, furthermore technical education  system play vital role in learning which has been provided by FRI.
